Participaremos en 109 ferias que se llevarán a cabo en 74 localidades de Bizkaia, incluido el Mercado de Santo Tomás de Bilbao

La plataforma de venta online BBK Azoka cuenta hoy por hoy con 55 productores de pequeñas y medianas explotaciones y ofrece hasta 500 productos locales como verduras, fruta, miel, conservas de pescado, txakoli o lácteos

Este año destinaremos más de un millón de euros para apoyar a las y los baserritarras de Bizkaia, agentes clave de un sector estratégico para avanzar en la competitividad sostenible del territorio. Un compromiso que se materializará a través de dos vías distintas y complementarias para apoyar las ventas: por una parte, la colaboración en la organización de un total de 109 ferias (2 + que 2025) en 74 municipios y el e-commerce BBK Azoka, el escaparate digital del primer sector de Bizkaia en el que ya participan 55 productores y productoras del territorio.

Esta mañana, Unai Rementeria ha visitado el caserío Uxarbeiti de Igorre, donde ha podido conocer de primera mano la actividad que desarrolla esta explotación agraria familiar. Durante la visita, ha estado acompañado por Urtza Sarrionandia y Edurtzeta Atutxa, quienes lideran el proyecto y cuentan con una sólida trayectoria vinculada al territorio y a la producción local. Se trata, además, de una familia con una presencia habitual en las ferias de Bizkaia, donde comercializa sus productos, también disponibles a través de BBK Azoka.

En BBK contamos con una dilatada trayectoria de apoyo al sector primario. Nuestro compromiso se remonta a 1977, cuando comenzamos a colaborar con la organización de las ferias agro-ganaderas de Bizkaia, un canal de venta directa fundamental para el sector. En ese primer año se celebraron 12 ferias, y 49 años después, superan el centenar. Un año más volveremos a colaborar en la organización de ferias emblemáticas como las de Abadiño, Bermeo, Muskiz, Gernika, Zamudio o el mercado de Santo Tomas de Bilbao, entre otras.

Durante la visita a la explotación, Unai Rementeria ha destacado que “desde BBK llevamos casi cinco décadas apoyando al primer sector. Ya en 1977 comenzamos a impulsar las ferias agrícolas en Bizkaia, con 12 ferias en aquel primer año, y hoy son ya 109 las que organizamos junto a 74 municipios del territorio. Nuestro objetivo sigue siendo el mismo: reforzar la competitividad sostenible de Bizkaia, apoyando a nuestros baserritarras y promoviendo la comercialización de sus productos de calidad.”

Por su parte, Urtza Sarrionandia ha recordado que “la apuesta por ferias y mercados contribuye al mantenimiento de nuestros caseríos y la actividad de los pueblos, ya que la venta directa es fundamental para nuestro modelo de producción. Además, las ferias son un gran escaparate para nuestra producción y una oportunidad para acercar al consumidor el valor y la calidad de lo que hacemos. Eso sí, no podemos pasar por alto la fuerza de la presencia digital, por lo que hoy en día es clave que podamos combinar los dos formatos”.

BBKrentzat, lehen sektorea eragile erabakigarria da lurraldearen jasangarritasuna lortzeko

BBK Azoka online salmenta-plataformak ustiategi txiki eta ertainetako 55 ekoizle ditu gaur egun, eta bertoko 500 produkturaino eskaintzen ditu, hala nola barazki edo ortuariak, fruta, eztia, arrain-kontserbak, txakolina edo esnekiak
