Ayer vivimos una jornada marcada por la innovación y el reencuentro en la que más de 70 alumnos y alumnas participaron en el primer prompt-a-thon de nuestro programa de formación digital. Este evento, que culminó con una gala en la Sala BBK, ha servido para consolidar la comunidad de BBK Bootcamps by The Bridge como un ecosistema vivo de conocimiento y colaboración entre estudiantes, empresas y profesionales del sector.

La jornada comenzó por la mañana en BBK Kuna con un reto relacionado con el medioambiente y la sostenibilidad. Divididos en seis equipos multidisciplinares, los y las estudiantes de las especialidades de ciberseguridad, data science, marketing digital y desarrollo web trabajaron de forma colaborativa para diseñar soluciones mediante Inteligencia Artificial. El objetivo fue crear prompts, esto es, una instrucción clara para la IA con el objetivo de desarrollar soluciones que reduzcan la huella de carbono en el “hogar del futuro”.

Un espacio de creatividad aplicada y reencuentro

Más que una competición, el prompt-a-thon ha sido un espacio de creatividad donde el talento demostró su capacidad para transformar ideas técnicas en propuestas alineadas con nuestros valores. El proyecto ganador se dio a conocer por la tarde en la Sala BBK durante el evento central del Alumni Day, una cita abierta a toda la comunidad que ha servido para reencontrarse, compartir experiencias e inspirar el futuro del sector tecnológico en nuestro territorio.

Este encuentro contó con la participación de agentes clave como representantes de Lanbide, profesorado y empresas colaboradoras, quienes pudieron comprobar de primera mano el alto grado de especialización del alumnado. La celebración de este día supone un reconocimiento al esfuerzo de todas las personas que forman parte de esta red de talento que no deja de crecer.

Formación práctica para los empleos del mañana

BBK Bootcamps by The Bridge es una apuesta decidida por la capacitación en los empleos surgidos de la revolución digital. A través de este formato de aprendizaje intensivo y práctico, facilitamos una rápida incorporación al mercado laboral, con una tasa de inserción que actualmente supera el 80% a los seis meses de finalizar la formación.

Desde el inicio del programa en 2018 y hasta 2025, un total de 740 personas han pasado por nuestras aulas. Esta cuarta edición, impulsada en colaboración con Lanbide, reafirma nuestro compromiso con la creación de oportunidades laborales en sectores estratégicos.

Atzoko jardunaldiak berrikuntza eta elkartzea izan zituen ardatz. Gure prestakuntza digitaleko programako 70 ikaslek baino gehiagok parte hartu zuten lehen prompt-a-thon erronkan. Ekitaldiak BBK Salan egindako gala batekin amaitu zen, eta BBK Bootcamps by The Bridge komunitatea ezagutzaren eta lankidetzaren ekosistema bizi gisa finkatzeko balio izan du, ikasle, enpresa eta sektoreko profesionalen artean.

Jardunaldia goizean hasi zen BBK Kunan, ingurumenarekin eta jasangarritasunarekin lotutako erronka batekin. Sormen aplikaturako eta berriz elkartzeko espazioa

Lehiaketa bat baino gehiago, sormenerako gunea izan da prompt-a-thon erronka, non talentuak ideia teknikoak gure balioekin bat datozen proposamen bihurtzeko gaitasuna erakutsi duen. Proiektu irabazlea arratsaldean ezagutarazi zen BBK Salan, Alumni Day-ko ekitaldi nagusian. Hitzordu hori komunitate osoari irekia izan zen, eta esperientziak partekatzeko eta gure lurraldeko sektore teknologikoaren etorkizuna inspiratzeko balio izan zuen.

Hoy hemos celebrado en la Torre BAT la presentación de una nueva edición del programa BBK Empleo Inclusivo. En el encuentro hemos reafirmado nuestro compromiso con la construcción de una Bizkaia más justa, y también hemos ampliado el ámbito de actuación: a partir de ahora, además de a las personas con discapacidad, también impulsaremos la inserción laboral de personas migrantes que encuentran obstáculos para acceder al mercado de trabajo.

En el acto han participado numerosos agentes que hacen posible este cambio en el territorio. Para dar comienzo a la jornada, Nora Sarasola, directora de Acción Social de BBK, ha destacado en su intervención el valor social del programa. A continuación, Julia Shershneva, directora de Ikuspegi – Observatorio Vasco de Inmigración, ha ofrecido la ponencia principal, en la que ha analizado el contexto actual y los retos de la inclusión social en Bizkaia.

Uno de los momentos centrales del acto ha sido la mesa redonda, en la que se han puesto en valor casos reales y enfoques estratégicos para lograr equipos más diversos. En ella han participado Ibane Nuñez, coordinadora del proyecto en Peñascal Kooperatiba; Keltze Elorriaga, responsable de Recursos Humanos de la planta de Arteche en Mungia; Gonzalo Salcedo, adjunto al secretario general de CEBEK; y Michel Morales Veranes y Bassou Et Tahery, director y trabajador de la empresa MR Aguas, respectivamente. Estos últimos nos han ofrecido una visión directa de quienes viven el proceso de integración en el día a día laboral.

Un modelo de éxito en crecimiento

Desde que en 2022 pusimos en marcha BBK Empleo Inclusivo, la adhesión de las empresas ha sido muy notable. Hasta la fecha, 68 empresas se han sumado al proyecto, y 31 de ellas ya han realizado contrataciones; en total, hemos logrado integrar con éxito a 53 personas en el mercado laboral ordinario.

Este año hemos querido dar un paso más. Gracias al nuevo convenio de colaboración firmado con Peñascal, el programa ofrece un sistema de apoyo específico, formación y guías de buenas prácticas diseñadas para superar las barreras que encuentran las personas migrantes. Queremos derribar muros para que cualquier persona, independientemente de su origen o situación, pueda desarrollar su proyecto de vida con libertad e independencia.

Apoyo y acompañamiento para las empresas

En BBK tenemos claro que el camino hacia la inclusión debe ser sencillo para el tejido empresarial. Por ello, el programa ofrece un apoyo integral: asesoramiento especializado por parte de un equipo técnico, que acompaña gratuitamente a la empresa durante todo el proceso de selección y en la adaptación al puesto de trabajo; ayudas económicas para fomentar la contratación estable —de hasta 6.000 euros para empresas de Bizkaia que realicen contratos de un año o más—; y una red de alianzas con entidades que conocen de primera mano la realidad social.

Por una Bizkaia sin etiquetas

Creemos firmemente que la integración laboral debe ser una realidad vivida con naturalidad en nuestros centros de trabajo, hogares y calles. Solo una sociedad que cree en la igualdad de oportunidades y sabe valorar el talento sin etiquetas será realmente fuerte y cohesionada.

Con el compromiso de invertir en proyectos que mejoren la calidad de vida de las personas, seguiremos trabajando para que las empresas de nuestro territorio continúen siendo agentes de cambio social. Porque en Bizkaia el futuro se construye sumando todas las capacidades.

BBK Kunan 2025. urtea gure garaiko erronka handienetako baten inguruan herritarrekin batera hausnartzera bideratu dugu: elikadura. Nola jaten dugun eta horrek gure osasunean, lurraldean eta harremanetan duen eragina funtsezko galdera da Bizkaian etorkizun jasangarriagoa eta kohesionatuagoa eraikitzeko.

Ibilbide honen gailur gisa Etxekooking sortu da. BBK Kunak bultzatutako mugimendu honek gure etxeak eraldaketarako gune bihurtzen ditu. ‘Etorkizuneko Biztanleak’ ekimenaren barruan, proiektu honek herritarren entzute aktiboa eta Braulio Gómez Deustuko Unibertsitateko Politika Zientziako irakasleak zuzendutako ‘Sukaldearen Etorkizuna’ azterlanaren ondorioak ditu oinarri. 2025ean zehar egindako lanari esker, Bizkaiko sukaldearen, elikaduraren eta ongizatearen inguruko asmo partekatuak eta joera argiak identifikatu ahal izan ditugu.

Etxeko sukaldea balio kultural eta sozial gisa

Prozesu honen emaitzek argi erakusten dute gehiengoek etxeko sukaldearen balioa berreskuratu nahi duela. Biztanleen % 61 baino gehiagok uste du etxean sukaldatzea garrantzitsua dela euskal kultura gastronomikoa babesteko, gure nortasunaren eta tradizioaren funtsezko parte baita. Kezka hori bereziki nabarmena da belaunaldi gazteenen artean, osasunari, jasangarritasunari eta elikadurak ingurunean duen eraginari buruzko kontzientzia handiagoa erakusten baitute.

Etxekooking, BBK Kunatik sukaldera itzultzeko gonbidapena

BBK Kunan, sukaldera harrotasunez itzultzeko gonbidapen gisa ulertzen dugu Etxekooking. Sukaldatzearen plazera berriz aurkitzeko eta etxeko sukaldea pertsonak eta lurraldea zaintzeko ekintza modura bizitzeko deia da. Mugimendu honen bidez, etxean egindako sukaldearen balioa nabarmendu nahi dugu, gure kultura gastronomikoa indartzeko, antzinako ezagutzak eta errezetak bizirik mantentzeko eta ohitura osasuntsuagoak eta jasangarriagoak sustatzeko tresna nagusi gisa

Etxekookingen babesean, elikadura kontzienteagoa sustatzen duten ekimenak bultzatzen eta hartzen ditugu, hurbileko osagaiak aukeratzetik elikagaiak prestatu eta partekatzeko moduraino. Horrela, etxe bakoitza ingurunean eragin positiboa izateko, tokiko ekoizleei laguntzeko eta komunitate loturak sendotzeko gune bihurtzen da.

Belaunaldien arteko errezetategia, ondare partekatua

Mugimendu honen baitan, BBK Kunatik belaunaldien arteko errezetategi bat bultzatu dugu. Gazteak, adinekoak eta sukaldariak helburu komun baten inguruan elkartu ditugu errezeta tradizionalak gaur egungo bizitzara egokitzeko. Emaitza zazpi errezeta dira, prozesu errezagoekin eta denbora laburragoan egiteko modukoak, euskal ondare gastronomikoa babesteko eta etxeko sukaldea egunerokoan bizirik mantentzea errazteko.

Etorkizuna egunerokotasunetik aktibatzea

Etxekookingek BBK Kunan berrikuntza soziala nola ulertzen dugun erakusten du: egunerokotasunetik sortzen den eta modu kolektiboan eraikitzen den zerbait bezala. 2025. urteari amaiera ematen dion proiektu honek gure konpromisoa sendotzen du Bizkaiko herritarrekin, familiekin, ikastetxeekin, tokiko ekoizleekin eta enpresekin batera lankidetzarako eta ko-sorkuntzarako guneak sortzen jarraitzeko.

Elikaduraren etorkizuna ez baita bakarka eraikitzen. Gure etxeetako sukaldeetatik gure osasuna hobetu dezakegu, planeta zaindu eta Bizkaia kohesionatuagoa, jasangarriagoa eta etorkizuneko erronkei aurre egiteko prestatuagoa indartu.

Ayer Sala BBK volvió a convertirse en el epicentro de la tradición y el reconocimiento del mundo rural con la celebración de la gala de entrega de premios de la 76ª edición de Santo Tomás Azoka, celebrada el pasado 21 de diciembre. Un evento que organizamos anualmente para poner en valor el esfuerzo y la excelencia de nuestros y nuestras baserritarras, piezas clave en el engranaje económico y social de Bizkaia.

El evento contó con una destacada representación institucional, entre ellas, Unai Rementeria, presidente de BBK, y Gorka Martínez, directos general de BBK, Nora Sarasola, directora de la Obra Social de BBK y Ainhoa Elortegi, responsable de Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible de BBK; Amaia Barredo, consejera de Alimentación, Desarrollo Rural y Pesca del Gobierno Vasco; Arantza Atutxa, diputada de Medio Natural y Agricultura; Ana Otadui, presidenta de las Juntas Generales de Bizkaia; Amaia Arregi, Asier Abaunza y Eider Inunziaga por parte del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao; y Eduardo Ruiz de Gordejuela, consejero delegado de Kutxabank. También estuvieron presentes las personas productoras premiadas y representantes de la Fundación Bisubi.

Reconocimiento a la calidad y el esfuerzo

La entrega de premios recorrió las categorías más emblemáticas de la azoka. Desde las hortalizas y frutas que llenaron de color la capital bizkaina, hasta productos esenciales como la miel, el pan, la sidra y los diferentes tipos de queso (oveja y cabra). El mundo del txakoli también tuvo un protagonismo especial, premiando las variedades de blanco, tinto, rosado y especial.

Más allá de la calidad técnica de los productos, quisimos rendir tributo a la dimensión humana y social de la feria con tres menciones de honor. El premio al mejor stand, entregado por Gorka Martínez, que reconoce la estética y el cuidado del espacio de venta. Por su parte, Amaia Barredo entregó el premio a la persona productora más joven, un galardón clave para BBK, ya que pone el foco en el necesario relevo generacional para que el sector primario siga vivo.

Uno de los momentos más emotivos de la tarde se vivió con la entrega del premio a la trayectoria en Santo Tomas Azoka, de la mano de Unai Rementeria, que sirvió para homenajear toda una vida de dedicación y compromiso con la azoka y con Bizkaia.

Solidaridad y participación ciudadana

Siguiendo la estela de ediciones anteriores, el carácter solidario de Santo Tomás estuvo presente a través del reparto de 4.500 raciones de alubias de Gernika, una iniciativa que fue reconocida por el Saria BISUBI, entregado por la directora de la Obra Social de BBK, Nora Sarasola. Esta alianza con la Fundación Bisubi refuerza el compromiso de la gastronomía local con las causas sociales del territorio, ya que toda la recaudación obtenida se ha destinado íntegramente a apoyar la labor de las asociaciones Lagun Artean, Gregorio Ybarra, GBGE y Naizen.

Por otro lado, se hizo entrega del premio del concurso “Zenbat da?”, una iniciativa que busca concienciar al público sobre el valor real de los productos locales y fomentar una ciudadanía más consciente y conectada con su entorno rural.

Una de nuestras señas de identidad más profundas es el apoyo al sector primario, con una trayectoria de colaboración en ferias agro-ganaderas que se remonta a 1977. Por ello, nos resulta fundamental seguir generando encuentros como este, que más allá de ser una entrega de premios, se consolidan como un espacio para el diálogo y el reconocimiento mutuo que nos invita a valorar lo nuestro. Con el compromiso de seguir invirtiendo en proyectos que aporten valor a la sociedad y fortalezcan el territorio, continuaremos trabajando para construir, entre todas y todos, una Bizkaia más sostenible, más humana y más orgullosa de sus raíces.

Por ello, el escenario para el Demo Day de BBK Arin es la Torre BAT de Bilbao, donde nos reunimos para celebrar el talento de cinco startups que no solo buscan rentabilidad, sino generar un impacto positivo real en nuestro territorio.

Fue una tarde de nervios, ilusión y, sobre todo, de comunidad. Tras meses de intenso trabajo, las cinco startups finalistas se subieron al escenario para demostrar que el futuro de Bizkaia está en manos de personas comprometidas con la transformación social y medioambiental. No fue solo un evento de cierre, sino el inicio de una nueva etapa para unos proyectos que ya forman parte de la familia BBK.

Un viaje de aceleración y triple impacto

BBK Arin no es un programa de aceleración convencional, sino que es una apuesta por iniciativas que persiguen un triple impacto: económico, social y medioambiental. Acompañamos a startups de Bizkaia en su fase de puesta en marcha y crecimiento, ofreciéndoles un diagnóstico personalizado, formación especializada y mentorías con personas expertas de referencia. En esta edición, tras un riguroso proceso de selección en el que evaluamos el potencial de escalabilidad y la innovación de cada propuesta, cinco proyectos fueron elegidos para vivir cuatro meses de aceleración intensiva en la Torre BAT.

Durante este tiempo, hemos proporcionado los recursos necesarios para consolidar sus modelos de negocio y prepararse para el mercado. Además del acompañamiento estratégico, el programa cuenta con un fondo de 100.000 € en formato premios para impulsar financieramente su crecimiento en el proceso de aceleración.

El talento local brilla en la Torre BAT

El Demo Day, inaugurado por Nora Sarasola, Directora de Obra Social de BBK Fundación Bancaria, fue el escaparate perfecto para conocer las soluciones disruptivas que han madurado en el programa. Las personas asistentes pudieron disfrutar de los pitches de cinco startups excepcionales:

  • ADSOL: una consultoría que rediseña nuestra relación con el agua. Gracias a su tecnología, ayudan a optimizar y reutilizar cada gota diseñando soluciones a medida y conectando tecnología y monitorización para que empresas y hogares sean mucho más eficientes.
  • Kuvu: una plataforma de convivencia intergeneracional que convierte habitaciones infrautilizadas de personas mayores que viven solas en alojamientos asequibles para jóvenes profesionales y estudiantes. Además de compartir hogar y facilitar alquileres asequibles, tiene como objetivo combatir la soledad no deseada.
  • Compostree: fabricantes de protectores de árboles y arbustos biodegradables y compostables en Euskadi que sustituyen los protectores de plástico usados en el sector forestal y reducen los costes logísticos y de gestión.
  • Marzianos: una startup de alimentación saludable crea snacks naturales, nutritivos y sin azúcares añadidos orientados a mejorar la alimentación infantil y familiar. Además, estos snacks son aptos para dietas e intolerancias.
  • FelineTek: innovación local para trabajar seguros en las alturas. Han patentado una plataforma única que se adapta a cualquier terreno, garantizando estabilidad total para las y los profesionales. Con este producto, mejoran la seguridad laboral y la eficiencia operativa.

La jornada culminó con un afterwork abierto a la comunidad de BAT, donde la interacción fluyó de forma natural entre todas las personas asistentes. La jornada concluyó con una dinámica interactiva a través de un Kahoot, donde se pusieron en valor diversas iniciativas de los programas BBK Ekin y Arin. Se entregaron premios vinculados a proyectos de nuestra red, como pases para Jappy Gallery, calzado sostenible de Basq o productos de alimentación saludable de Marzianos, consolidando así las sinergias y el modelo circular que promovemos entre nuestras comunidades de emprendimiento.

Cómo comemos, qué impacto tiene en nuestra salud, en el territorio y en nuestra forma de relacionarnos es una cuestión clave para construir futuros más sostenibles y cohesionados en Bizkaia.

Como cierre y culminación de este recorrido, nace Etxekooking, un movimiento impulsado desde BBK Kuna que pone el foco en nuestros hogares como espacio de transformación. Enmarcado en la iniciativa Habitantes del Futuro, el proyecto se apoya en un proceso de escucha activa a la ciudadanía y en las conclusiones del estudio El Futuro de la Cocina, liderado por Braulio Gómez, profesor de Ciencia Política de la Universidad de Deusto. Un trabajo desarrollado a lo largo de 2025 que nos ha permitido identificar aspiraciones compartidas y tendencias claras en torno a la cocina, la alimentación y el bienestar en Bizkaia.

La cocina casera como valor cultural y social

Los resultados de este proceso son claros: existe una voluntad mayoritaria de recuperar el valor de la cocina casera. Más del 61 % de la población considera importante cocinar en casa como forma de preservar la cultura gastronómica vasca, parte esencial de nuestra identidad y tradición. Estas inquietudes son especialmente visibles entre las generaciones más jóvenes, que muestran una mayor conciencia sobre la salud, la sostenibilidad y el impacto de la alimentación en el entorno.

Desde BBK Kuna concebimos Etxekooking como una invitación a volver a los fogones con orgullo, a redescubrir el placer de cocinar y a entender la cocina doméstica como un acto de cuidado hacia las personas y hacia el territorio. A través de este movimiento queremos poner en valor la cocina hecha en casa como una herramienta clave para fortalecer nuestra cultura gastronómica, preservar conocimientos y recetas tradicionales y promover hábitos de vida más saludables y sostenibles.

Bajo el paraguas de Etxekooking, impulsamos y acogemos iniciativas que fomentan una alimentación más consciente, desde la elección de ingredientes de proximidad hasta la forma de cocinar y compartir los alimentos. Cada hogar se convierte así en un espacio desde el que influir positivamente en el entorno, apoyar a los productores locales y reforzar los lazos comunitarios.

El recetario intergeneracional: legado compartido

Como parte de este movimiento, desde BBK Kuna hemos impulsado un recetario intergeneracional que une a personas jóvenes, mayores y chefs con un objetivo común: adaptar recetas tradicionales a la vida actual. El resultado son siete recetas con procesos más simples y tiempos reducidos que permiten preservar el legado gastronómico vasco y facilitar que la cocina casera siga viva en el día a día.

Activar futuros desde lo cotidiano

Etxekooking es una muestra de cómo, desde BBK Kuna, entendemos la innovación social: como algo que nace de lo cotidiano y se construye de manera colectiva. Este proyecto, que pone el broche final al año 2025, refuerza nuestro compromiso de seguir generando espacios de colaboración y co-creación junto a la ciudadanía, las familias, los centros educativos, los productores locales y las empresas de Bizkaia.

Porque el futuro de la alimentación no se construye de forma individual. Un encuentro en el que reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con una cultura accesible, diversa y de calidad en Bizkaia, a través de una propuesta amplia y plural que reúne más de 40 conciertos, una decena de propuestas de artes escénicas, cerca de 40 proyecciones cinematográficas y un extenso programa de actividades culturales, sociales y educativas, todo ello bajo el lema “Cultura para todas las personas”.

Una agenda estable y diversa durante todo el año

Con esta nueva programación, reforzamos el papel de Sala BBK como espacio cultural de referencia en el territorio, con una agenda estable que permite prever actividad una media de cinco días por semana a lo largo de todo el año. Además de los espectáculos, mantenemos una apuesta decidida por el impulso a la creación artística y la formación en artes escénicas, consolidándolo como un proyecto vivo, conectado con el ecosistema cultural y creativo de Bizkaia.

El impacto de Sala BBK en 2025

Durante la presentación, hemos puesto en valor la intensa actividad desarrollada en 2025. El espacio abrió sus puertas un total de 207 días, lo que supuso actividad en más del 57 % de los días del año, y recibió a 56.636 personas espectadoras, un 12 % más que el año anterior. Estos datos reflejan una apuesta sostenida por la accesibilidad, con una amplia programación de entrada libre y precios moderados en los eventos de pago, así como una ocupación media del 64 % del aforo.

Música, artes escénicas y cine como pilares de la programación

2026 viene cargado de una oferta cultural diversa que abarcará música, artes escénicas y cine. La música vuelve a ser uno de los ejes principales, con más de 40 conciertos y ciclos consolidados. Las artes escénicas contarán con una decena de espectáculos diferentes, incluidos estrenos en Euskadi y producciones propias, mientras que el cine mantiene una presencia destacada a través de ciclos familiares, festivales y estrenos exclusivos, reforzando una programación pensada para públicos diversos.

Creación, formación y compromiso con el territorio

Toda esta programación se articula en torno a tres grandes líneas estratégicas que definen el proyecto cultural de Sala BBK: el apoyo al talento local y la dinamización del tejido cultural; la digitalización del espacio para ampliar sus capacidades técnicas y su alcance; y la consolidación de una oferta cultural inclusiva y asequible. Desde esta mirada, concebimos este espacio como un agente activo al servicio del desarrollo cultural y social de Bizkaia.
