We are a reference in Bizkaia in the field of intellectual disability.

With a surface area of 50,000 m², this space offers specialized services to improve the quality of life and social inclusion of its users. From its origins as a diagnostic and guidance centre, it has evolved to offer a wide range of services tailored to the individual needs of each person.

Main services

  • Residence of Temporary Stays: The Ola Residence of Temporary Stays, helps people with intellectual disabilities to live in a foreign environment, and provides a break for their families so that they can continue with their care the rest of the year.
    It is open to anyone with an intellectual disability in Bizkaia, between the ages of 18 and 59. With a capacity of 28 places, it is in service 365 days a year. The minimum length of the stay is 15 days, with a maximum of 3 months per year (4 months in case of emergencies).
  • Day Centre: Care and living together program for people with severe intellectual disability or high dependence, with personalized support to improve their well-being.
  • Saioa Service: Integral care for reception, intervention and accompaniment, with proposals adapted to each person and their family environment.
    Occupational Workshop: A space where training and work go hand in hand to enhance personal development and integration into society.
    Special Employment Centre: Initiative aimed at the integration of people with intellectual disabilities into working life, with the aim of facilitating their access to ordinary employment.
  • Employability Support Service: A programme to assist people with disabilities in their professional development by providing guidance, training and planning work itineraries.
