The price to pay
What hidden cost is behind what we buy? A campaign that invites us to reflect on the real impact of our consumer decisions and to make the social, environmental and economic consequences that we often do not see on the label visible.
What is the true cost of what we buy?
«The Price to Pay» is an initiative that analyses the social, environmental and economic consequences of our consumption model. Through a powerful and impactful message, the BBK Banking Foundation is driving a debate on corporate social responsibility, sustainability and the need for a paradigm shift towards sustainable development.
A price is much more than just a number on a label. Behind every product or service there is a story of workers, raw materials, regulations and transparency. But when the price is set ignoring these factors, another hidden cost arises: the price we pay as a society.
This campaign is launched to raise awareness about sustainable competitiveness and the need to promote responsible business practices that ensure a level playing field, respect for the environment and fair trade. As a symbol of this message, the campaign represents the collapse of the Vizcaya Bridge, reflecting the impact of a system that prioritizes immediate benefit over real progress.
