The vision

We are a key agent for transforming habits towards sustainability of the citizens in Bizkaia.

With the BBK Bank Foundation’s commitment to the transition of citizens’ habits towards sustainability, we are contributing to the protection of the planet and promoting a more aware, fair and resilient society. This has a lasting impact on both people’s quality of life and the balance of ecosystems for future generations.

We develop educational and awareness activities for all ages, promoting the importance of environmental care and responsible management of natural resources.

We support the primary sector and responsible consumption, through initiatives that strengthen the sustainable economy and care of the environment.

We promote the conservation of natural habitats and native species, ensuring the preservation of biodiversity in Bizkaia through ecological restoration programs.

We support projects to curb climate change, promoting reforestation, protecting the oceans, energy efficiency and reducing emissions in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
