Biobizkaia is joining BBK Kuna’s 2026 initiative, “Technology for humanity and well-being”. With a focus on promoting technologies that improve everyday life – in areas such as health, care, mobility, inclusion and sustainability – Biobizkaia is organising a public event:

Advanced technology to improve people’s health

It will take place in the Ganbara room at BBK Kuna in Bilbao on 11 June 2026, from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm.

The overall aim is to bring health research and innovation closer to the public and to foster dialogue between science and society. The event will offer an overview of various innovative projects applying advanced technologies in different areas of healthcare. We will focus on older people and children, but we will also learn about the latest advances in specific areas such as colorectal cancer and rehabilitation.

The event is designed as a participatory and accessible space, where the public will not only be able to learn about scientific advances first-hand, but also interact, ask questions and share thoughts with those responsible for the projects. This interaction will be a key part of the day, reinforcing Biobizkaia’s commitment to open, responsible research that is aligned with social needs.
